Concrete Ramps

ConcreteRampsAccessibility Ramps are commonly used for ease of access in and out of buildings to create barrier free access. The Ontario Disability Act requires that all building in Ontario become compliant with barrier free access by the year 2021. Concrete ramps are also used as loading ramps to access trucks, cars or forklifts in and out of buildings. Welded wire mesh or re-bar can be added to the concrete in order to provide more strength. The thickness of the concrete will vary depending on the application and loads being applied to the surface. Ramps can have many types of finishes including: broom, spin, float, stamped and more.  A broom finish creates more friction providing better grip on ramps. Stamped concrete has a smooth finish and creates less friction and traction.  Your professionals can advise the best solution for you
